The Window

I sit here in the wall hole
a lonely broken Window
I cry
through the cracks on my face
I stutter
As the wind around me roars

I had waited for this day
And now this day I resent the most

I had waited
while bearing the uncouth Sun

I had waited
while the Snow grew on me
like a malignant tumour

Now that the Rain is here
It refuses to recognise me
And instead brought
A tempest of unkept promises
A storm of untold lies

I sit here
Scattered
And ask the Rain
“Why did you save me from my lies, when you had to lead me into yours?”
