“Never be afraid to try something new kid, remember amateurs built the ark while professionals built the Titanic.”
“But then everyone knows the tragedy associated with the Titanic, dad,”
I never realised
when or how it happened
which day was the last
when my father
could not make me smile anymore
was the first
when my ideas
fascinate him anymore
If I could find out that day
that hour, that minute
abandon the constraints of time
and stop myself
from creating that invisible line
subjects my childhood memories
to a sceptic mirror
Glad that you could relate to it. =)
Kind of felt sad reading this 😦
Beautifully conveyed – thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you for going through. 🙂
Powertful and so sad.
I’m sure a lot of us has been there and faced something like this one time or another.
Something so small and broken that grows and grows over a lifetime.
I agree, and there is not stopping to it. It’s sad and true.
Thank you for stopping by and commenting on it. Appreciate it. 🙂
