To be, and not to be

Paper eyes
Trace my steps
With a dusty smirk
In every joke I tell
A cracked smile
For a miserable lie
Sheet embraced in white
thatย mourn its transparency

A poster grafted
On a litmus wall
Budding on red
Waiting on blue
Stagnates in rhymes
of a perpetual hue

  1. Wow! beautifully written, I love the last line/metaphor (paper eyes) and the last stanza:
    “A poster grafted
    On a litmus wall
    Budding on red
    Waiting on blue
    Stagnates in rhymes
    of a perpetual hue”
