I miss the social gracefulness
of my electronics laboratory
Where LEDs stood across
ravines in Colossus’ stance –
dictating light; gave up merely
at a lazy attempt on leg pulling
How I wish I had tried switching the polarity
I honestly miss, making and breaking circuits. It was undoubtedly tough at times and don’t ask me the number of times I have ‘short-circuited’ the whole damn thing, but it was fun nonetheless! We even tried to establish a relation between Kirchhoff’s Circuit Law (which is – At any node (junction) in an electrical circuit, the sum of currents flowing into that node is equal to the sum of currents flowing out of that node/please refer to Wikipedia) to Karma – to call it the ‘Kirma Hipster’s Law’. It never materialized but who knows, keep an eye on your kid’s textbooks – all of them. Now you believe that I was a good student, right?
Please note the use of past tense and the exemption from date/time/place the last sentence holds. Preparing for competitive exams gives you a lot of insight on life – especially the critical reasoning questions – you know those which ask you to differentiate between assumption and presumption because your life depends on it. Quite literally.
I remember once we were trying to assemble a circuit on a Printed Circuit Board; and while one of the girls was soldering – there was this distinct funny smell in the room(?)…apparently she was trying to embed her hair in the circuit too… hope ‘the girl with her hair on fire’ doesn’t discover this part of the internet *ever*. Okay, okay, not on ‘fire’ but a spark maybe?
There’s your insidious story of the day! I’d love to know any university/school laboratory mishaps/adventures you have had or how many colours of tinsels you’re buying this Christmas. Also, you can listen to this spiffy music while reading this post (ah, you’re already at the end, right? heh) for dramatic effects. Vladimir Visotsky has such a presence in his voice. (confetti of less than 3s for him)
This post is all over the place, isn’t it? AHOY! :’)
you can do what now?! ok change of plans, i’ll de-worm the cat – you build a slick weapon to hold the world hostage and demand a Polynesian island!

Hohoho (for seasonal effects and all) sure thing, mate! I’ll also build a device to hypnotize penguins; they’ll then ‘willingly’ serve us tea and hot chocolate. xD

“This post is all over the place, isn’t it? AHOY! :’)”
–Hahahahaha. That’s allowed sweetie. We all need to be ‘all over the place’ at times eh.
At any rate, it’s all Greek to me. I don’t anything about this type of stuff. I can’t think of any school stuff that happened that would come close to this one, and I didn’t buy any tinsel this year. Actually, I’ve given up on tinsel. Did you buy any tinsel? What colours? How was your Christmas?
As for me, I’m dying to get back into routine. I have a feeling that won’t be happening as much as I like until mid-March. Argh. I love routine. I thrive on routine. Hmmmmm. Now I’m all over the place. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hope you’re doing super well. What are your plans for New Year’s?
🙂 ❤

Aw, it’s okay it’s all Greek to me too you know, hehehehe I miss fooling around that’s all it is really. XD
Yes! We did! We bought three colours – silver, red and green! But, oh boy it’s so difficult to ‘deal’ with them. -.-
Really? Why till mid-March though? Routine does keep us going, doesn’t it?! I hope this year I too get into a university to go back in a routine…
I have no plans this new year. I have prepared Trifle for the night, hehehe 😀
What are your plans? And, what are the kids up to? ❤
Happy New Year 2015! to you and the family, my friend! ❤

🙂 Thanks sweetie.
No big plans for New year’s. Kind of a bummer. It’s stinking hot and sunny here though. For me, that’s a good thing. 🙂
March, because we are moving at the end of January, My mom is coming in February, and she doesn’t leave until March 10th. Plus, I will start homeschooling with my oldest, who has asperger’s syndrome. that’s going to take some adjusting and finding a routine that works.
Ummmmmmmm YUMMY! I love trifle. Can I have some pleeeeaaaasssssseeeee?
Happy new year to you, my friend. May 2015 bring many blessings into your life.
🙂 ❤
p.s. the kids are great, thanks for asking.

It’s the same here…I feel nothing about new years. I haven’t ever for some reason.
It’s so cold here and the weather is getting to me now. It was a depressing first day of the year. I need the Sun, desperately!
Blimey, that sounds hectic – the moving part! I wish you luck for that. It’s my birthday towards the end of January : 28th to be precise. d_b
Ah, I’m sure you’ll figure out a routine for homeschooling him, pretty soon! 🙂
Hehehehe sure! I love Trifle too! :’) I’ll sending a whole LOT for you and the kids! It has a layer of raspberry jelly too! Woohoo 😀 ❤

Thanks a lot sweetie.
It’s stinking hot here right now, and I’m bored. New year’s day really is a bore. Nothing open. No desire for anything. Hmmmmmmm.
At any rate, happy new year. I hope things start to look up soon.
🙂 ❤

YES! Raspberry Jam is my favourite and so much more better than Strawberry ones!
Wow, it must be so different to experience heat in New Year but it’s for good of course…the cold does nothing but make everything all the more dull.
Thank you! I hope it’s the same for you, Staci! 😀 ❤

I totally agree. I’m all for raspberry and blackberry. Not a huge strawberry fan.
Yes, it’s hot here right now. Tons of mosquitos and flies too. Yuck. We’ll be going on a mini-vacation on the 11th. Four nights on the beach in Porto Seguro, Bahia. Am I making you jealous yet? hehehe. Sorry.
Love and blessings sweetie.
