I cannot write poems of love
Love needs a certain passion
I am driven only by gluttony
This is not even a poem
Why does it have to be?
If I write it in this fashion
And, call it a poem
Does it become poetry?
What is this,
if not a poem?
A question
An answer
A rant, maybe
A dry mind, for sure
But, if I don’t know how
to write poetry
This is
what a poem just might be
Good try

This is like a poem so desperately trying to disguise itself as something…something…ohh I can’t find the word! Sneaky! I love this! π

Beautiful Poem! You say you do not know anything about love yet you write at length on it….you share so much love too. You say you do not know anything about writing poetry yet you write such profound and beautiful poems……

This is great!! I think poetry is in the mind of the writer. All poetry rules are meant to be broken, taped together, and recycled. So maybe this is a poem, maybe it’s not…it’s up to you :-). All I know is that I enjoyed it!!!

Oh wow, that is a incredible way to put it and how very true – “poetry is in the mind of the writer.” π
It is indeed a poet’s interpretation of the poem that makes it what it is. Thank you so much for that lovely and positive outlook! π
I’m pleased to find that you enjoyed it! Much love! β€
